2015-2022 Chevy Trax Towing Capacity?

The Chevrolet Trax is a small SUV and I noticed that a lot of people were asking what the towing capacity is for these vehicles, so I decided to do some research to see what I could find and it was surprising what I found!

2015-2022 Models:

For all of the model years listed (2015-2020), the owner’s manuals clearly stated that the Chevy Trax’s were not made for or intended to tow any amount of weight.

So in short, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 Chevy Trax’s had a towing capacity of 0 pounds, or no tow capacity whatsoever.

Below is the image I found in the owner’s manual for the 2022 model year, but it applied to all the model years I looked at from 2015-2022 and was the same scenario for every single year. I have a list of quick reference links to the owner’s manuals for you to check it out yourself.
